Bermuda Ball Hockey: Spiders & Mallards Win

Nineteen goals and a shootout all took place at the PCC Hockey Rink as the Bermuda Ball Hockey League season resumed with a double header.

San Francisco Spiders 6 Allen Americans 4

In the opener the San Francisco Spiders defeated the Allen Americans 6 – 4. The San Francisco Spiders were led to victory by JM Tremblay who scored a hat-trick, while Shane Matchett, Jeff Loper and Matt Mcphail all added a goal each. The Allen Americans got single strikes off the sticks of John Duda, Jacob Marchant, Craig Rowat and Derek Winch.

Red Army 4 Quad City Mallards 5

This second game needed a shootout goal to decide a winner. During Regulation time, the Red Army got goals from Matt Katzsch, Max Boivin, Christopher Merritt and Ben Wilshaw, while the Quad City Mallards got a hat-trick from Ryan marshall and a single strike from Nathan Kowalski.

The Quad City Mallards all-important Shootout goal came off the stick of Chris Coleman.
