Bermuda National, Open Championships Begin

The 2019 Bermuda National and Open Championships got underway in the Great Sound and the Hamilton Harbour, with over 100 young sailors taking to the waters.

Christian Ebbin is leading the Championship Fleet after 4 races in the Great Sound. Ebbin has 8 points after finishing 3rd in the first race, second in the second race, second in the third race and winning the final race of the day.

Magnus Ringsted is in second; he has 15 points as he recorded finishes of 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 4th, while Jaspar Niellsen from the Cayman Islands is third with 18 points.

Oliver Soares has 5 points after four races and leads the Green Fleet in the Hamilton Harbor, Soares won the first two races, before finishing second in the third race and then he won the final race of the day.

Cody Rans is in second with 11 points and Shiloh Cruickshank is third with 14 points.
