Daleys Conclude International Championships

Elan and Elijah Daley took to the Etobicoke Olympium Pool to compete for the final time in the Age Group International Short Course Championships in Canada.

Elan Daley, competing in the 13-14 Girls Age Group Division, broke yet another Bermuda record on her way to winning the gold medal in the 100m Backstroke.

Daley touched the wall in a time of 1:03.63, which broke the previous record time of 1:05.11 set be Emma Harvey on February 6, 2016 during the Somerset County Championships in the United Kingdom.

Daley also captured the gold medal in the 100m Breaststroke final, clocking a time of 1:15.99.

Daley closed out with a time of 2:22.38 during the 400m Medley final that saw her finish fourth.

Elijah Daley finished fifth competing in the 13-14 Boys 200m Backstroke final, clocking a time of 2:18.45. He also finished fifth competing in the 200m Breaststroke final, touching the wall in a time of 2:37.51.

Daley closed out by picking up the bronze medal during the 400m Medley, touching the wall in a time of 4:51.54.
