Football: BSSF Knockout Cup Finals Results

The Bermuda School Sports Federation’s Knockout Finals took place on Saturday at the National Sports Center in Devonshire where seven matches took place as some of the island’s top young footballers showcased their skills.

Primary School Division 2: St. George’s Prep 9 Heron Bay 0

St. George’s Prep were led to victory by MVP Samir Askia who scored 5 times as they defeated Heron Bay 9 – 0. Kaiyuri Albouy added 2 goals, while Nazri Butterfield and Etienne Strong added a goal each, with Zorian Brunson named the Heron Bay MVP.

Primary School Girls: Harrington Sound Primary 7 St. David’s Primary 1

Kalila Daley scored 6 times and was named the Harrington Sound MVP as they defeated St. David’s Primary 7 – 1. R-Zanee Evans Waldron scored the other goal for the winners, while Mhila Russell scored the lone goal for St. David’s, with Cayli Dowling named the teams MVP.

Primary School Division 1: Saltus Grammar School 3 Somersfield Academy 2

Saltus Grammar School got single strikes from MVP Michael Burcher, Jack Fischer and Connor Hupman as they defeated Somersfield Academy 3 – 2, Skyler Peixoto and Grant Reese scored a goal each in a losing cause, while the Somersfield Academy MVP was Keivan Foster.

Primary School Division 1: Warwick Academy 3 Somersfield Academy 0

Warwick Academy defeated the Somersfield Academy 3 – 1, with MVP Harlan Watson Brown, Edward Perinchief Ingham and Cole Pedro all finding the back of the net. Somersfield Academy MVP was Cameron Simons.

Middle School Under 13 Division: Whitney Institute 2 Warwick Academy 1

The Whitney Institute defeated Warwick Academy 2 – 1, Whitney Institute got single strikes from Jayden Symons and Tajahri Rogers with Skyler Young named MVP, while Niyan Grant scored the lone goal for Warwick Academy who’s MVP was Xahvi DeRosa.

Middle School Girls Division: Warwick Academy 2 [3] Whitney Institute 2 [1]

Adriana Argent and Sanna Simmons scored a goal each for Warwick Academy in their 2 – 2 draw with the Whitney Institute, Flora Betts was the Warwick Academy MVP, while the Whitney Institute got single strikes from Zuri Swan and Samiyah Burgess, while their MVP was Eva Tuzo. Warwick Academy would win 3 – 1 on Kicks from the Penalty Mark.

Senior School Under 16 Boys: Berkeley Institute 2 Saltus Grammar 1

The Berkeley Institute defeated Saltus Grammar 2 – 1, Berkeley Institute got single strikes from MVP Sekai Tatem and Kynde Mallory, while the Saltus Grammar goal came from Cairo Lewis with Cody Robinson named the teams MVP.
