Daleys Win Five Medals On Trillium Cup Opening

Elan and Elijah Daley began competing in the 2019 Trillium Cup, hosted by Etobicoke Swim Club at the Etobicoke Olympium Pool.

The pair won a total of 5 medals on the opening day, while Elan broke a Bermuda Age Group and Open Record.

Elijah Daley picked up a silver medal finishing 2nd competing Boys 13-Year-Olds 1500 LC Meter Freestyle clocking a time of 18:23.57.

Elan Daley won the Girls 14-Year-Olds 200 LC Meter Individual Medley silver medal with a time of 2:23.84, this time also broke the Bermuda 13-14 Age Group and the Open Records.

Elijah Daley captured the Boys 13-Year-Olds 200 LC Meter Individual Medley gold medal when he touched the wall in a time of 2:20.08.

With a time of 2:57.37, Elan Daley finished 4th in the Girls 14-Year-Olds 200 LC Meter Breaststroke Final.

Elijah Daley won the silver medal in the Boys 13-Year-Olds 200 LC Meter Breaststroke clocking a time of 2:44.66.

Elijah Daley then won the Boys 13-Year-Olds 100 LC Meter Backstroke gold medal clocking a time of 1:05.24.

Earlier in the day, during the Girls 14-Year-Olds 200 SC Meter Individual Medley Preliminaries Elan Daley finished second touching the wall in a time of 2:20.67.

Elijah Daley clocked the fastest Boys 13-Year-Olds 200 SC Meter Individual Medley Preliminary time of 2:17.86.

Clocking 2:48.27 saw Elan Daley finish 4th during the Girls 14-Year-Olds 200 SC Meter Breaststroke Preliminaries, while Elijah Daley finished 3rd in the Boys 13-Year-Olds 200 SC Meter Breaststroke Preliminaries touching the wall in a time of 2:42.64.

Elijah Daley then finished 2nd competing in the Boys 13-Year-Olds 100 SC Meter Backstroke Preliminaries clocking a time of 1:04.36.
