Man Arrested After Collision In Hamilton

A 57-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst impaired after a collision in Hamilton on Sunday evening.

A police spokesperson said, “At around eleven minutes after midnight on Sunday 23-Dec-2019, Police & EMS were dispatched to a report of a single vehicle road traffic collision on Reid St. City of Hamilton; outside of A.S. Cooper involving a motor bike.

“The 57-year-old male rider was found unconscious and was transported to King Edward Hospital where he was attended to for injuries which do not appear to be life threatening.

“He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of driving whilst impaired.

“Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact the main police number, 295-0011.”
