Motorcyclist In ICU After Crash In Warwick

A 35-year-old man is in the Intensive Care Unit after a motorcycle crash on Middle Road in Warwick.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 11:50pm Saturday, December 7th a reported single vehicle motorcycle crash occurred on Middle Road in Warwick near the junction with Khyber Pass.

“It appears that a 35-year-old Pembroke man riding a motorcycle west on Middle Road attempted to negotiate a bend in the road and struck a tree.

“Apparently the rider was assisted at the scene by other motorists before being transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of head injuries.

“At last check he had been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. The scene was processed and inquiries continue.

“Any witnesses that have not already come forward are encouraged to call Constable Ryan Swan on the main police telephone number 295-0011 as soon as possible.”
