Warwick Swimmers Back In Action In Florida

The final day of preliminaries saw Warwick Academy swimmers back in action during the Speedo Winter Age Group Championships in Florida.

In the 15-16 Women’s 200 Yard Butterfly, Taylor White finished 12th with a time of 2:16.69, with a time of 1:15.02, Daria Desmond finished 16th in the 13-14 Women’s 100 Yard Breaststroke.

During the 13-14 Women’s 200 Yard Freestyle. Adriana Argent finished 26th touching the wall in a time of 2:07.79, while Bella Howes finished with the exact same time and was given the same position and Desmond finished 33rd clocking 2:17.45.

White will take up a spot in the 15-16 Women’s 200 Yard Freestyle final after finishing with the 7th fastest time of 1:59.30, Tayla Horan finished 16th clocking a time of 2:02.03.

Brian Desmond is also heading to a final when he finished 8th in the 15-16 Men’s 200 Yard Freestyle touching the wall in a time of 1:45.35, while Caleb Ingham finished 36th clocking a time of 1:53.09.

Howes finished 30th competing in the 13-14 Women’s 100 Yard Backstroke clocking a time of 1:07.59, Argent finished 37th with a time of 1:12.65, White finished 9th in the 15-16 Women’s 100 Yard Freestyle touching the wall in a time of 1:01.47, while Horan finished 35th with a time of 1:06.04.

Jack Harvey finished second in the 15-16 Men’s 100 Yard Backstroke clocking a time of 52.88.
