A trip in April 2019 by Minister of National Security Wayne Caines to Jamaica for the Visionaries Summit cost $3,047.14; a trip in May to Dominican Republic for Exercise Tradewinds Phase 1 cost $2,391.51; a trip in June to St. Vincent and the Grenadines for Exercise Tradewinds Phase 2 cost $2,111.26; and a trip in October to London for Negotiations of Passport Printing Issues cost $5,452.56, according to recent listings on the Government’s travel webpage.

Visionaries Summit

The trip duration was listed as from April 4, 2019 – April 7, 2019, and the web page listing said, “Guest Speaker at the Visionaries Summit. The Visionaries Summit offers a multi-stakeholder business acceleration environment designed for decision makers from around the world to connect with their peers in untapped markets in a bid to drive ecomomic transformation and growth.”
