Elijah Daley Breaks Bermuda Record In Toronto

Elijah Daley recently competed at the Toronto Grand Prix 2020 at the University of Toronto, achieving two personal bests and breaking one Bermuda long course record.

Daley finished 57th in the Men’s 50m freestyle, clocking a personal best time of 26.89 before finishing 36th with a time of 1:03.26 during the 100m butterfly.

He then recorded a personal best time of 2:16.49 on his way to finishing 21st in the 200m butterfly; that 200m butterfly time broke his brother Ethan Daley’s record of 2:23.33 set back on April 23, 2016 during the MAC Invitational in Canada.

The swimmer closed out with a time of 2:20.77 in the 200m individual medley, finishing 26th.
