“Serious Crime Unit detectives are actively pursuing lines of enquiry from the shootings in Warwick from Monday evening, and the information from the public has been immensely helpful so far. However we still need a push from the community to help us bring the offenders from each of these crimes to justice.

“If you have been offered, or seen suspicious items of jewellery recently, we want to hear from you.

“If you know the shooters, or know about the shooting on North Shore on Monday, we want to hear from you.

“If you know about the shootings on Morgan Road, & Khyber Heights / Smiths Avenue, we want to hear from you.

“We will be continuing to identify & arrest the offenders in these cases, and have, as I stated previously, significantly beefed up our investigative, unarmed, and armed response teams to address these cases.

“Members of the nearby communities will see officers in their neighbourhood, and these officers will be seeking their help to make the community safer. It is vitally important that we address this together.

“We ask that you understand that officers will be actively targeting those believed to be responsible, and at times there may be some inconvenience to law abiding members of the public as Police go about their business to identify offenders.
