Basketball League: Flyboys & Twisters Win
The Bermuda Basketball Association’s Winter League season resumed with a double header at the CedarBridge Academy Gymnasium that produced 232 points.
The first game saw the Paget Flyboys sponsored by the Bermuda College defeat the Hamilton Parish Rockets 63 – 48. Jorel Smith led the Paget Flyboys to victory with a game high 21 points, while Gakai Clark scored 14 points for the Hamilton Parish Rockets.
The second game of the night saw the Hamilton City Twisters claim a 66 – 55 win over the Southampton Thundercats.
Tejour Riley and Dion Easton both scored 12 points to lead the Hamilton City Twisters to victory, while Calvert Lee scored a game high 18 points for the Southampton Thundercats, while Keedai Astwood added 13 points.
