February 11, 2020

The Bermuda Football Association announced that the Senior Men’s National Team will travel to Jamaica to match up against Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz, with the game set to take place on March 11th.

A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Football Association is pleased to announce that the Senior Men’s National Team will head to Montego Bay, Jamaica to resume its international activity with an exciting and purposeful match against regional powerhouse Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz. The match will be played on Wednesday, March 11th at a time yet to be confirmed by the Jamaica Football Federation.

“This match is seen by both National Associations as the perfect opportunity to continue preparations for the upcoming Concacaf Gold Cup qualifiers as well as the resumption of the Concacaf Nations League later this year.

“The last time Bermuda faced Jamaica the result didn’t favor the Gombey Warriors but with the looming tournaments on the horizon the significance of this match means that every player hoping to be part of the senior men’s national team going forward has an opportunity to prove their qualities.

“Details on the traveling delegation inclusive of players and officials will be named in due course. The technical staff are looking forward to the inclusion of new players combining with seasoned performers for what promises to be another exciting year for international football in the CONCACAF region.”
