Please get back and do your civic duty and pick up the trash–jessums–can’t even do that during a crisis.

    Shameful…

  4. Josh says:

He really didn’t say much did he? Complete waste of time in my opinion.

And what he said, I could hardly understand!?

    • Rockfish# 2 says:

He must be seen to be doing something in order to earn HIS paycheck.

  5. Toadinthehole says:

So is the BIU paying any benefits to its members at all?

  6. Bs says:

Mr. Furbert speaks at one point about how the minister should be paying out to large blocks of people only. The problem is Mr. Furbert that the Government represents the entire population not just union members.
The fact of the matter is all of Bermuda is going to feel this financial pain wether you work for a large or small self employed company.

  7. Boston Whaler Owner says:

liike many others I know,I have no time for him

  8. Dunn juice says:

He wants his air time too.

  9. Sandgrownan says:

Honestly? What value does Chris Furbert bring to the table here? FFS.

  10. Ringmaster says:

Having wasted around 20 minutes of my life watching this, it is clear Chris Furbert has no idea of what is happening in Bermuda to so many non BIU/Government people at this time. His explanation of why garbage collection was stopped beggars belief. There was no mandatory quarantine for the employee who went to work. The stoppage was unlawful and the workforce should not have been paid. Is that the case? Are all Government employees receiving full pay even if they can’t work from home? If they weren’t it would have been made public, so the pain is not being shared, at least until Government revenue is not sufficient to meet payroll which is likely very soon.

    • silence says:

your crazy, as soon as that mouthpiece comes on i switch off, my fish can have a better and more reasonable sensible converstuin than him

    • Onion Juice says:

Hey Dipstick, we are in a crisis right now and you are concerned if Govt.workers are getting full pay or not.
$#!+ our Ancestors worked for 400 years with NO F@#&ing pay!!!!!!!!!!!
And for years de economic and social balance of PAIN has not been shared.
So what do you you say about that?

      • Question says:

You never lifted a finger without being paid in your entire life.

    • Onion Juice says:

      No sympathy

  11. Sally says:

As per usual this was a total waste of air time. For some reason Chris Furbert seems to think union members are in a class of their own. He likes to posture.

  12. Mark says:

Now you know why the Mute button is on your TV remote.

  13. redbird says:
