The Bank of Butterfield today announced that it will reopen its Banking Centres in Bermuda beginning on Monday as part of Bermuda’s Phase 1 reopening period.

“All Banking Centres [Reid Street [Hamilton], St. George, Somerset and the temporary Banking Centre at Rosebank] will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday beginning Monday, 4 May 2020. Rosebank provide services for seniors only,” a spokesperson said.

“There will be no surname schedule in place; Butterfield will serve all customers each day it is open.

“Saturday banking services are discontinued until further notice. Strict social distancing measures will continue to be enforced, as will the need for all customers entering the Banking Centres to be wearing masks.

“Customers are encouraged to continue to use online channels—Butterfield Online, the Butterfield mobile banking app, or ATMs—to conduct banking transactions wherever possible.”
