City Of Hamilton Holiday Trash Collection

The City of Hamilton is advising the public that there will be no trash collection within City limits on Good Friday [April 10] or Easter Sunday [April 12].

A spokesperson said, “The City of Hamilton advises the public that there will be no trash collection within the City limits on Good Friday or Easter Sunday. City refuse will be collected on Saturday and resume as per normal on Monday, April 13. Collection continues to be once a day between 6:00am and 1:30pm until further notice.

“The City reminds businesses and residents to store their wheelie bins in a secure location to avoid theft and any damage that may be caused during inclement or windy conditions.

“The community is reminded that the dumping of household trash in Hamilton from the outer parishes is in violation of the Waste Litter Control Act and may be punishable by law.”
