Gale Warning For Tonight, Tomorrow Morning
A gale warning has been issued, valid from late tonight through tomorrow [May 21] morning, the Bermuda Weather Service [BWS] said.
The BWS forecast said, “The low to the near north will pass overhead later tonight with rain, mist, showers, and rapidly changing winds from strong to light [centre arrives], strong, and finally gale force with gale force gusts.
“After the passage of the low early Thursday morning, stable conditions and lower humidity levels will be introduced as a ridge of high pressure begins to build in. This ridge then remains through Saturday, maintaining settled conditions.”
