Music Video: Shacolbi Basden’s ‘Lockdown’

Victor Scott School Educational Therapist Shacolbi Basden has released a music video for her song ‘Lockdown.’

Ms. Basden explained to Bernews, “I have been an educator in the Bermuda public school system for 24 years and am currently the Educational Therapist at Victor Scott School.

“I fought back my excitement as lockdown ended and I could finally run to the studio.

“On April 22nd, I coined words that personified the lockdown experience for our staff, hoping to bring a sense of lightheartedness and humour during such unpredictable times.

“Thanks to my recording engineer Abimbola Bademosi, my son Kendin Rain Basden [who offered technical support], Principal Kennelyn Smith and VSS Staff, my imagination became reality for all to enjoy.”
