OBA’s Craig Cannonier Bermuda Day Message
OBA Leader Craig Cannonier recently took the time to wish Bermudians a happy Bermuda Day, while reminding the public to “celebrate with the precautions that have been put in place.”
Mr. Cannonier said, “We’re about to celebrate Heritage Day this coming Friday, and I’m excited just as well as yourselves about the opportunity that we have, especially with our new-found freedom in Phase 2.
“We’re able to get out a bit more than we were in the last couple of weeks and to be able to enjoy the comraderie of one another. Bermuda, have a wonderful Heritage Day. Let’s remember to celebrate with the precautions that have been put in place and remember to take care and love one another. Enjoy, Bermuda.”
Since when has Bermuda Day been renamed Heritage Day???
It’s bad enough that it is no longer celebratd on the 24th May.
