The Ministry of Public Works is informing the public that work by Aecon to install the new airport sign at the roundabout on Kindley Field Road will require temporary one-lane traffic closures within the roundabout for the internal westbound lane near Cahow Way side.

A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists that Aecon will undertake the works to install the new airport sign at the airport roundabout on Kindley Field Road. This work will require temporary one-lane traffic closures within the roundabout for the internal westbound lane near Cahow Way side.

“The lane closure will be temporary to allow for construction vehicles to enter the roundabout median and it will take place only as needed during Monday, June 8th, 2020 to Friday, July 3rd, 2020.

“Traffic controls will be under direction of Aecon representatives and will be managed through traffic control stop and go signs.

“The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.
