    THE ONE PERCENTERS.

To put it bluntly, we are in a state of anarchy as people are sick of hearing excuses afforded to criminals who appear to have a open door policy towards our merchants and home owners, our roads are the latest battleground.

No body would like our island to turn into a dictatorial police state with military curfews.

Having a gun stuck in your face is most likely the worst thing that can happen to any one much more than less having guns discharged in your neighborhood .

Reckless hooligan bikers on our roads have an open season to intimidate the general public .

The general public is has no recourse to any form of defense for property or person except possibly a few kitchen and garden tools and a can of “Baygon.”

They make it difficult to own a small dog ,others barricade their homes

The terror inflicted by criminals on people has a life long lasting effect. You never get over it .

May be time has come for the general public to be of greater assistance to the our police.

It’s a real shame, it’s a tragedy , folks with no conscience. If you were hungry and ask for a piece of bread , the people might have done so. If the police did reg ular foot patrols crime would be down. Also if vehicle road checks were done. The sobriety roadside checks have their time and place , but community policing is sorely needed. Many seniors live alone and have no defence. Cost is always a factor, trim other budgets, and help in reducing crime.
