A Homegoing service for Alice Eleanor “Bigmama” [Liburd] Robinson [Nee Franklin], wife of the late Harrison Robinson, daughter of the late Walter and Annie Franklin, mother of Cynthia and Ruby Liburd, Valerie Hunt [Kenneth “Bop”], Linda Philpott [Keith “Rope”] the late Sydney, Frankie and Alan Liburd and Steven Liburd Al-Amin, step daughter Venicia Warner [Cordell], sister of Dr. Dorothy Matthews-Paynter, Helen Williams, the late Bernice Rogers, Walter Franklin and Vance “Joe” Campbell [Patricia], in her 95th year of 17 Rambling Lane, Pembroke, will be held at St. Paul A.M.E. Church, Today, October 22, 2022 at 2:00 pm.
Interment will follow at Pembroke Parish Cemetery.
There will be no viewing.
Lovingly survived by her grandchildren: Frankie Francis, Jean-ann Liburd, Cornell Fubler [Claudette], Jason Liburd, Dean “Tuffy” Liburd [Beverly], Georgette Simons [Terrance], Nicole “Lady Tyson” Francis [Berne], Dee “Umpsie” Liburd, Steven “Ivy” Easton, George “Messy” Liburd, Devonna Samuels [Jahmah], Georgina Liburd, Ricardo Hunt Shomari Warner; great grandchildren: Gina, Jermaine, Nandi, Jahvonna, Jermel, Jahdayna, Lashuna, N’Gena, Kasiya, Paul “PJ”, Jada, Cameron, Yasmyne, Caleb, Sakena, Caden, Isaiah and Jahkeri; great-great grandchildren: Giano, Giniko, Gia, Mazaii, Glow, Marley, Sabali and Sa’mere; sisters in law: Lauretta Robinson, Ursula Busby and Marie Trott; godchildren: Vernette Hunt and David “Terence” Grant; nieces, nephews and other extended family members too numerous to mention.
She was predeceased by her first husband and father of the children Sinclair Liburd; great grandsons Jahmeiko Perkins and Roman Edwards-Easton; niece Yvette Smith; nephews Walter and Edward Matthews; Godson Wendell Ebbin.
