Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the death of Mrs. Alice Hazeldel Philpott [nee Hollis], beloved wife of the late Lionel Eugene Philpott, daughter of the late Phillip and Lillian Hollis, loving mother to the late Lionel Augustus Philpott, sister to the late Phillip, DeWilton, Godfrey, Leonard, Oliven, Percy, Rodney Hollis, Sylvia Outerbridge, Arlene Lee, Beryl Hodsoll, loving grandmother to Darlene Debra and Doreen Philpott in her 98th year of #9 Ferguson’s Park, Southside, St. David’s will be held at Crawl Gospel Hall, Hamilton Parish Today, May 6, 2017 at 2 pm.
Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery.

She is survived by stepson: Ernest ‘ToJo” Philpott; sister to Gilbert and David [Brenda], Jean and Gloria Hollis and Joy Creighton [Eugene]; sisters-in-law: Dora Hollis, Francis Hall and Delmar Gibbons Smith; daughter-in-law: Merice ‘Reesie’ Philpott; great grandchildren: Najah, Alekah, Ijed, Afreecia, Quizelah, Itah and Wakeem; great great grandchildren: Dorjah, Selah, Nayef, Anthony, Antoine, Isaiah, Ilexah and Dnahjae; great great great grandchildren: Jordon, Jayden and Ariyah; extended family: Durronnie Philpott and family; caregiver: Beverly Walkes; special friends, Audrey Bassett, Brownlow Place, Mary Smith, Clarica Parker, Gladwyn Paynter, Alan and June Ann Furbert, Wilma ‘Glo’ Daniels, Joyce Williams and The Richard Allen AME Church family and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
