It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Andrea Maxine James, in her 66th year of “Quiet Storm”, #29 Dunscombe Road, Warwick, daughter of the late Edward and Emma James nee [Astwood], mother of; Jahvonne James [Andrea], Janai James [Chris], and Jadai James [Zackary]. Stepmother to; Shane Todd and Life Partner Edmund “Skip” Smith. Beloved grandmother to Ja’niquon Robinson, Jahzidae James, A’Zhun Weller, Psalm Caines, Zaely Fox and August Furbert. Beloved sister to; Thelma McIntosh and Albert James [Laverne].
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, December 3rd, 2022, at The First Church of God, North Shore, Pembroke at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at St. Paul’s Church, Paget.
Andrea was predeceased by her siblings, Erma Johansen, Lorraine Morris, Meredith James, Harrison James, and niece Sylvia Morris. Andrea leaves to mourn her nieces; Denise Morris, Antoinette Hayward [Daniel], Monique Willis, Marsha Williams and Sophia James. Nephews Michael James, Dwayne Richardson [Dena], Jamel Binns, Kareem and Kameron James. Brothers-in-Law; Bishop Vernon Lambe [Ruth Ann], Mahlon Smith, Lionel Smith [Valerie], Wayne and Micheal Smith. [Larry Smith, Sammy and Kenny Wright, Perry Jones, John Foster- Predeceased]. Sisters-in-Law; Selina King-Foster, Marlene Durham, Volenda Raynor, Thyra Warner [Philmore], Sara Burchall [Leon], Melody Mitchell [Shawn], [Delores Harrison, Brenda Jones- Predeceased]. Special great nieces and nephews to whom she had a very special relationship with, cousins, friends and god-children too numerous to mention.
