Ashley Eugene Roberts

A memorial service celebrating the life of Ashley Eugene Roberts, in his 75th year of Florissant, Missouri, previously of Warwick, Bermuda, son of the late Cyril Eugene Roberts and the late Eunice Edith Roberts Nicholas [nee Cox] will be held at Bright Temple AME Church, 28 Spring Hill, Warwick on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 3.00 p.m.
A scattering of his ashes at sea will be held privately at a later date.
He is survived by brother: Winston “Vince” [Alison]; sisters: Edith Williams and Gloria Roberts [Ralph]; special nephew/brother Michael Roberts. Predeceased by brothers Allan Roberts, Clifford Roberts, Sr. and Leroy Proctor.
Also cherishing his memory are nieces and nephews: Paul Desmond Tomlinson, Aleta Bradford, Allan Jr., Alarny, L’Tanya, Clifford Jr., Craig, Tionnae and LeVince Roberts, Altonio Symonds-Roberts, Tyriq Pitts, Lauren Joell, Kanhai Armstrong, Cindy Robinson Hall and Vincent Thigpen. Aunt: Kathryn Cox. Sister-in-law Delores Proctor & nieces/nephews, Sonia Gordon, Lauren Roberts and Patricia Darrell; godchildren: Paul Wellman, Ashley Bassett, and Taj Phipps. Adopted sisters: Talita and Tarita Phipps. Special friends Mr. & Mrs. Llewellyn Phipps, Ralph Wellman, Marion Smith, Jean Denkin, Eugene Bassett; Ruth & Ron Smith of Missouri; the Roberts, Cox and Daniels families; family of the late Elaine Brangman Roberts; Marine & Ports family and his Missouri church families. Great nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, cousins, co-workers and friends of Bermuda and abroad too numerous to name.
Also predeceased by Aunts: Muriel Roberts, Eunice Lottimore, Lois Dowling and Mary Daniels. Uncles: Leonard, Norman [Sonny] and Eugene Cox J.P., M.P., John Galloway, Vivian [Bip], Cooper and George Roberts.
