A Homegoing service for Barbara Harvey Burgess, loving mother of Onslo Burgess, daughter of the late Howard and Ethyl Burgess, sister of Virginia Outerbridge, Cora Washington [late], Wendel Burgess [late]. In her 87th year of 24 North Shore Road, Flatts Village Smiths will be held at Bethel AME Church, Today, May 26, 2022 at 1pm.
Interment will be at Cemetery St. Marks Cemetery.
There will be no viewing.
Lovingly survived by: Grandchildren; Onslow Lightbourne, Luonia Bailey, Great Grandchildren Chenzira Eve, K’Zhai Bailey, Kaius Pinder, Great-great grand-daughter Dolce’ Eve, Nieces; Eunice Wilson [Patrick], Gina Outerbridge, Lisa Hunt, Nephews; Arthur Raynor, Wade, Wayne & Rodney Washington, Anthony Outerbridge [Chelsea], Randy Burgess, Raymond [Bootsie] Outerbridge, Adopted son; David Smith [Joy], Adopted Daughthers; Heather Lightbourne, Lucinda Judd, Special Friends; Eunice Harrison, Jackie Outerbridge, Mayshore Thomas, Grace-Ann Smith, Betty Woolridge [late], Phyllis Jennings [late], Gloria Jackson of Atlanta [late], Trish Franklin family of Atlanta, Vera P. Card, Bethel AME, KEMH [Gordon Ward]. The family prefers colors, especially pink and green.
The family will share a private moment of reflection after the funeral service.
