Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Mr. Chesterfield Alexander Smith.
A Home Going service for Mr. Chesterfield Alexander Smith, son of the late Nelly Smith and Levi Ford, loving father to L. Chesterfield ‘Chester’ Smith [Joeann], Dennis Hart, David [Joy] and Leonard Smith, Sheron Gardner, Edmund Smith and Lynette Smith-Khaleed, brother to Wesley ‘Cookie’ Smith [England], Dorcus Harvey, Rose Smith, Mae Kelly, Annette Rewan [Nelson] and Nora Bonick of Bronx, NY, in his 89th year of Dr. Cann Drive, Apt. B3, Southampton will be held at St. Paul A.M.E. Church today Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 2pm.
Interment will follow at Pembroke Parish Cemetery.
Flowers may be sent.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at St. Paul A.M.E. Church today Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 1 – 1:55 pm.
Also surviving are sixteen grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Chesterfield Smith was predeceased by four sisters Eldine Smith, Aquilla Smith, Betty Ford and Coreen Ford; special friend: Madge Denbrook.
