A Memorial Service for Mrs. Doreen Monk, daughter of the late Orceno and Mary DeSilva, loving wife of the late Sidney Monk, Sr. and beloved mother of Sidney Monk, Jr. and Veronica Trott in her 77th year of Abbott’s Cliff Close, Hamilton Parish will be held at St. Theresa’s Cathedral, Cedar Avenue, Hamilton on Friday, 22nd September 2017 at 1:00 p.m. There will be no viewing.
In lieu of flowers, relatives and friends may make donations to Meals-on-Wheels.
Also surviving are: Daughter-in-law Deborah Monk, grandchildren Shannon Trott [Mary], Alicia Trott, Jeremiah Monk and Jennifer Monk; great grandchildren Jordon, Jahkeeba, Zhi and Teviyah, great step-grandchildren Jahstice Smith and Mitayah Richardson; brothers Ronald [USA], Joseph [Marie] of Canada, Eugene DeSilva and sister Edwina Fraser [Canada], brother-in-law Morris DeFontes and sister-in-law Gloria DeSilva, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by brothers David and Edward DeSilva, sisters Mary Moniz, Natalie DeFontes and Patricia Roque, brothers-in-law Sammy Moniz, George [Dorothy] Monk, William [Ann] Monk, Leonard [Terry] Monk and sister-in-law Elizabeth Siggins [Jack].
