Ethel Edith Madeiros

We regret to announce the passing of Ethel Edith Madeiros of 46 Lightbourne Lane, Smith’s Parish in her 84th year, beloved wife of the late Harold “Porky” Madeiros. She will be lovingly missed by her children, Janet Madeiros, Elizabeth Lopes and Harold Madeiros Jr., grandchildren, Nicole Renaud [Daniel], Justin Madeiros, Megan Sousa [Peter] and Brandon Madeiros, great-grandchildren, Ryan and Koa, siblings, Joan Martin [Russell], Alfred “Neno” Ray, Gladys Madeiros [Gary] and Bertha Marshall [Lawrence], sisters-in-law, Rose and Sandra Ray, brothers-in-law, Allan DeMoura and Edward Moniz, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and special friend Carole Mello.
Ethel was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Hilda Ray, brothers, Frank “Bobby”, Louis, David, Arthur “Boy” and Gary “Lungie” Ray, sisters, Irene Friedlander, Audrey “Lee” DeMoura, Dorothy DeSilva and Rosemarie Moniz.
A private graveside service was held for immediate family members. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Meals on Wheels.
