AMIS memorial chapel regrets to announce the peaceful passing of Mr. George Stanford Llewellyn “Lew” Hollis, beloved husband of Janet Hollis; father of Velda Franco, Hugh [Crystal], Shawn [Donna], Lana Woods [Greg], the late Larry Hall and special son Earl Bean; special daughter-in-law; Debra Chaney; son of the late Sherman Sr. and the late M. Genevieve [Mama Jenny] Hollis; brother of Sherman Jr. [Colleen Pat], Cecilia Lynne Cann [Lionel], Paul Hollis Sr., the late Dennis Hollis [Carol], the late Pamela Beverley Hollis and the late Vernon “CAP” Bean [Icilda], son-in-law of the late Mr. Irvin “B” and the late Mrs. Wilma Hall well-known Fisherman of LanaJ, in his 85th year of #12 Moore’s Lane, Pembroke. A Graveside Home-going Service will be held at St John’s Cemetery, Pembroke, Friday 2nd October 2020 at 6:00 pm.

There will be no viewing.

Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Chrisanthi Waldron [Sekai], Loqueta Edwards [Rodney], Alshauntae Hollis, Dimitri Hollis [Jillian], Roche and Michael Wolffe, Juliana Franco, Layla Bean and Mahjani; great-grandchildren: Cayden Waldron, Zhiyah and Ari Wolffe, Taiwan Beales and Novi Butler; brothers-in-law; Clarence Burrows, Craig Hall, Troy Seymour and the late Donald Hall; sisters-in-law: Irma Burrows, Sonia Hall, Wendy Seymour and the late Jean Burgess-Smith; godchildren, sisters: Jackie Simpson and Jennifer Lewis; nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. Special acknowledgements: Sinclair Gilbert, Colin Simmons, Norbert Simmons, Frederick Ming, Steven Antonition, Justin Easton, Carlton Butler, Thomas Whayman, The Bermuda Power Boat Association, The Fishing Community, The Bermuda Government Ministry and Department of Community and Cultural Affairs, The Cox’s Hill, Spanish Point and Boss’s Cove families and too many numerous friends to mention.
