Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the death of Mr. Gladstone Leroy Randolph “Guy” Bean, beloved husband of Maxine Arnette “Nettie” Bean, son of the late Stanley Leroy and the late Thelma Varona Bean nee Wears, father of Joanne Thompson, Bishop Rev. Gladstone [Zina] Thompson, Min. Glenn Bean, Randolph Bean Jr, and Stefon Somersall, stepfather of Dwayne Simons and Cherie [Kofi] Dill, brother of Marlene [the late Winslow] Smith, Mcree [Ida] Bean, Lionel Bean, the late Raymond Bean, Malcolm Bean, Howard [Michelle] Bean and Dornell [James “Jimmie”] Furbert, in his 83rd year, formerly of # 2 Whaling Hill, Southampton West.

Funeral services will be held at the Heritage Worship Centre, Dundonald Street, Hamilton Today, October 8, 2020 at 11am.

Interment will follow at Pembroke Parish Cemetery, Pembroke.

There will be no viewing.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Matilda Smith Williams Seniors Residence –HSBC Bank 010-365294-001.

He also leaves to cherish his memory grandchildren: Stephen [Maya], Jill [Jamel], Selena, Chauntae and Channice Thompson, step grandchild: Karis Dill; great grandchildren: Akilah and Quadir Thompson-Furbert, Russian, Cairo, Channing and Jahpray Thompson; nieces: Tracy [Gavin] Dean, O. Tanya and Crystal Smith, Lynelle, Rashida and Kamila Bean, Zakiya Furbert; nephews: Troy, Parris and Yul Smith, Mcree Jr., Jade [Zulema], Aaron, Lionel Jr. [Shana] and Marcus Bean; aunt: Barbara Bean; special god-daughter: Willamae [Rudy] Smith; god-children: Jackie Raynor-Brangman, the late Vicmon Benjamin, Ebony Souza; in-laws: Muriel [Teddy] Richardson-Greaves, Carol [David] Potts, Patricia Richardson, Rev.
