Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: – Gladys Celena Smith.
A Homegoing service for Gladys Celena Smith, wife of the late Thomas Smith, daughter of the late Charles and Mariam Phipps, loving mother to Kevin and the late Wendell Smith, sister to Mildred Williams, the late George Warner, Edith and Ismay Phipps, Euland Baker and Charles Phipps, in her 99th year of 25 King Street, Hamilton, will be held at The Wesley Methodist Church, Hamilton on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at 2:30 pm.
Interment will follow at The Wesley Methodist Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Augustus Funeral Home Today, March 11, 2023 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm also at The Wesley Methodist Church, Hamilton on Sunday, March 12, 2023 from 1:30 pm – 2:20 pm.
Lovingly survived by grandchildren: Mia Williams, Tamiko Wainwright, Dorika Richardson; great grandchildren: Raziah and Jalair Richardson; mother-in-law: Beulah Smith; father-in-law: Aubrey Smith; daughter-in-law: Janice Dayle; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends: Janice Murry, Judy Ming [godchild].
Gladys Smith was predeceased by brothers-in-law: Hubert, Aubrey, Frankie, Harry Smith; sisters-in-law: Dorothy Bean, Elsie Butterfield, Mary Cann, Evelyn Lespere.
