Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Mrs. Grace Emily Geraldine Gilbert.
A Home Going service for Mrs. Grace Emily Geraldine Gilbert, wife of the late Granville Gilbert Sr., daughter of the late Mildred Dill and ‘Chummy’ Minors, loving mother to Granville Jr., Wayne, Millard, Ian, sister to the late Reginald [Olga] and Alphoso Dill, Morton, Golden and Leon Bean, Edith Bean, Lorlitta Jones, Sandra Simons and Marva Clark, in her 93rd year will be held at Augustus Funeral Home on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 1:00 pm.
Interment will follow the service at Pembroke Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Augustus Funeral Home on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm also at Augustus Funeral Home on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 12:00 pm – 12:50 pm.
Lovingly remembered by grandchildren: Makhaji Gilbert [Jamaica], Dwayne Douglas, Wolde [Zackia], Finote, Falasha and Loren Gilbert [USA], great grandchildren: Tatiana, Dekada, Yahzahra, Jahmaria, Kevin [Romania], Zionde, Tallyah; great great granddaughter: Rajah; special sisters: Marsha Erystee [Williams] and Tequila Lathan; daughters-in-law: Rosetta and Gloria; brothers-in-law: the late Eugene [Betty], Sinclair [Kay], Rudolf [Stellar], Malcolm [Coralie] and Victor Gilbert; many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends too numerous to mention.
