Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Mr. Herbert Leon ‘Ponsie’ Goater.

A funeral service for Mr. Herbert Leon ‘Ponsie’ Goater, beloved husband to Gloria Goater, son of the late Dorothy “Dot” Goater, in his 85th year, formerly of Friswell Hill, Pembroke will be held at Christ Anglican Church, Devonshire, Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11am.

Interment will follow at Christ Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Matilda Smith Seniors Home.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Augustus Funeral Home Rose Chapel this evening, Friday May 6, 2016 from 7:30 – 9:00pm only.

Also surviving are Ivan and Joycelyn Darrell, Elsa Mckay, Seleana and Earl Abraham and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
