Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Mr. Herman McDonald Henry “Bricks” DeShields.
A Graveside service for the late Mr. Herman McDonald Henry “Bricks” DeShields, beloved husband of Vera DeShields, son of the late Frances DeShields and Henry Douglas, son-in-law of the late Catherine “Baby” and Kenneth Simons, brother to the late Cynthia and David DeShields, and beloved father to Patricia, Herman Jr. [Bouchra], and Vera-Lynn DeShields, in his 83rd year of 22 Sylvan Dell, Ord Road, Paget will be held at St. Paul’s Church Paget, Today, September 30th, 2021 at 11:00am.
There will be no viewing.
Herman DeShields will be dearly remembered by his loving grandchildren: Rakeem, Omari and Nahki DeShields; brothers: Ralph “Jimmy”, Stanley “Bobby”, John, Charles “Joe”, Philip “Milo” DeShields and Charles Thomas; sisters: Claudette DeShields and Ismay Bean; sister-in-law: Rosalie Lambe [Robert]; nieces, nephews and numerous other relatives and friends.
Covid-19 precautions are to be observed. Mask and hand sanitation will be required and social distancing observed.
