We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Howard Leroy James ‘Sockin’, ‘Pork Chop’ Outerbridge Sr.
A Homegoing service for the late Mr. Howard Leroy James ‘Sockin’, ‘Pork Chop’ Outerbridge Sr., beloved husband of the late Maisie D.F Outerbridge [nee Burt], loving father to Howard Outerbridge Jr.,and Cindy-Lee Weeks, daughter in law Hyacinth Outerbridge, son in law Michael Weeks JP.MP, in his 90th year of 40 Green Acres Rd Devonshire, will be held at Christ Church Middle Road, Devonshire, on Tuesday March 30th 2021 at 11am.
Interment will follow at Christ Church, Cemetery.
Viewing will be held at Augustus Funeral Home Rose Chapel on Monday, March 29, 2021 from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
Lovingly remembered by grandchildren: Howard III and Christina. Brothers in law William Burt, Leon Burt and Gerald Burt, Sisters in law Muriel Burt, Merlin Burt, Janet Outerbridge and many nieces, nephews and extended family members; Godchildren, Special friends: Ann Medley & family [USA], Talbert & Carolyn Gwynn with Perin Tinsley & family[USA]. Church of Christ family, Former Sea-land Construction family, The BIU family, The PLP family, his Bermuda Day Marathon fellow athletes and the Green Acres Estate Family.
Howard was predeceased by his Parents Peter and Ruth-Ann Outerbridge; In laws George and Inez Burt, Brothers: Reid, Orion, Rogers, Peter and Nathaniel; Sister: Florence Robinson. Brothers in law Earl Robinson, Rev. Bishop Donald Ming, Leroy Burt Sr, Edmund Burt, Sisters in law Lillian Outerbridge, Cecily Outerbridge, Edith Ming, Janet Burt, Glenda Burt, May Burt and Helen Burt, nieces, nephews and many special friends [ the late – Bulla Baker, Burnt Peanuts, Bongy Bean and Rogette White to name a few].
