Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Mr. J. Alfred Carey.
A funeral service for Mr. James Alfred Carey beloved husband to the late Eleanor May Carey [nee Gibbons], son of the late James Herbert Carey and the late Doris Vivian Carey [Harris], loving father to Dr. Jay Carey, Jill Carey-Caines, Jon[Dawn], Anton [Carol] in his 93rd year of 15 Studio Lane, Shelly Bay, Hamilton Parish will be held at St. Paul’s AME Church, Corner of Victoria and Court Streets Today, March 24, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.
Interment will follow at the Holy Trinity Cemetery, Hamilton Parish.
Flowers may be sent.
Relatives and friends may their respects and at St. Paul’s AME Church, Today March 24, 2017 from 1 pm – 1:45pm.
Also surviving are grandchildren: Jenne Carey, Dr. Jiney Caines, Raia Carey, Dr. Jasmin Caines, DaJon Carey, Alexander Carey, Saj Carey and Seer Carey; brothers: Basil [Gloria], Irving [Topsy]; sisters: Millicent Burgess, Vivian [George] Ealy, Cynthia Darrell, Beryl [Leroy] Whitter, Ivy Thompson; brothers-in-Law: Irving Gibbons and Barry Gibbons also numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and special friends too numerous to mention.
