A graveside service for Janet Beverly Rosemarie Burgess nee Simons, wife of the late Elmore Burgess, daughter of the late James A. Edwards [Sylvia] and Catherine M. Simons, loving mother to Jermaine Simons [Rogette] and Shernicer Burgess in her 69th year of Sylvia Richardson Care Facility formerly of #33 Angle Street, City of Hamilton will be held on Saturday 27th November 2021 at St. John’s Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
There will be no viewing.
She leaves to be dearly remembered by grandchildren: Dion, Kiera, Daetona and Kale; siblings: Hiram “Leroy” Edwards [Joanne], RoseAnn Edwards, James Edwards [Ghenie] and Charles Edwards; special niece Ayesha Lake; special great niece Amiyah Lake; nieces and nephews: Zina and Cherrie Edwards, Jasmine Tull [Damon], Gracie Edwards, Kyra Edwards, James Wilson, Patricia Dill, Brenda Gardner, Georgina Adlam [Richard], Donnamae Morgan [David], Donald Eve Jr., Debby Smith [Andre], Dean Eve [Kimwana], Chanell Darrell [Craig] and Eugene “Iyah” Winter, numerous great nieces and nephews, relatives and friends too many to mention.
Janet was predeceased by siblings: Thelma Francis [George], Raymond Simons, Milliner ‘Sis’ Trotman [Donald], Earlston ‘Cap’ Simons, Victor ‘Sharky” Simons [Barbara], nieces and nephew: Donelda and Danny Eve, Audrey Looby [Jerry].
