Augustus Funeral Home Regrets to Announce the passing of Jay Meldon O’Brian Thomas in his 58th year of 1 Field View Land, Sandys, Jay leaves to mourn his life long partner Cheryl Davis. His mother Sylvia Hassan, his father the late Reid Simmons, mother in-law Valarie Davis, son Jason Davis [Shakilla], grandchildren Aubrey and Jonah Davis, grandson in-law Matai Phipps, step-son Tory Davis, step grandsons T’si and Torque’ Davis, brothers Reid [Sabrina], Richard Simmons [Joele], Brandon Thomas, Marvin Hassan, Brooke Hassan, the late Coolridge Dill and the late Mark Hassan, brother in-law Randy Davis, sisters Fatima and Felicia Hassan, uncles Hank and Carlton Dill, aunts Lois Weeks and Valeria Butterfield, late aunts Gladys Smith, Pauline Calden, Marion Smith, late uncles Samuel Dill, Leslie Dill. Llewellyn [Piggy] Dill and Earlston [Piggy] Dill, special aunt Carol Fough, The Robinson Family, The Dill Family, nieces, nephews, cousins, Dandy Town Family, special friends Mike Swan, Shawn Laws, Roger Paris, Rembert Hill, Nicole Lewis, Floyd, Joey, Walter, Kevin, Barge and the Late Dougie as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Private Service will be held at 9:30 am followed by a burial at Pembroke Parish Cemetery Today, October 13, 2021 at 11:00am, memorial service to be held at a later date. Please note there will be no wake due to Covid restrictions.
