A memorial service celebrating the life of Joan Elizabeth Ming, in her 85th year of 23 Orange Valley Road, Devonshire DV 02, will be held at the St. Georges Seventh-day Adventist Church, Secretary Road, St. Georges on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at 3:00 p.m.
Joan was predeceased by her mother Blanche and father Kenny Iris. Joan is the beloved mother of Kurt [Andrea] and Kent [Cheri] Ming; loving grandmother of Tahkeesha [Carlton] Welch, Justine, Christopher and Jodi Ming. Great Grand-mother of Tahjae and Tyier Welch and Nasra Issa. Joan is survived by nieces Lynn and Suzanne Gordon, Allison Marshall, Penny Tucker; nephews Brian Bean and Freddie Gordon. Cousins Arabelle Fubler, Carol Pemberton, Aleta Bentl, Suzette Swan, Yolanda Tucker, Judith Burgess, Elizabeth Shakir, Jennifer Fray, Suzanne Thomas, Deborah Burgess, Kim Trott, Theresa Wright , Rhonda Burgess, Kelly Burgess, Nettie Bean, Sandra Hill, Mildred Blyden Davis, Teddy Davis, Lakin, Quinton Jr., Malcolm, Keevil ‘Captain‘, Nigel ‘Bumpy’, Charles ‘LB’, Raymond, Robert ’Bobby’ and Clarke Burgess and Llewellyn Iris. Joan had many friends and loved ones too numerous to mention however the family extends love and appreciation to all.
The family also ask that colours be worn in celebration of her vibrant spirit.
