The home-going service celebrating the life of John Robert Henry Burgess, beloved husband of Rev. Dr. Lois V.P . Burgess, beloved father of Danielle R. Burgess, son of the late Rev. George Woodson Burgess and Mrs. Reta Burgess; brother to the late Vincent Burgess [Sonny], Florence Outerbridge, Brunette Davis, and Alberta Tuckett [Edward] in his 82nd year of 87 North Shore Road, Hamilton Parish CR 01 will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 9th 2018, New Testament Church of God Heritage Worship Centre, Dundonald Street, Hamilton. Interment will follow at St. Mark’s cemetery, Smith’s.

John is also survived by his nieces, nephews, godchildren, other dear relatives and friends.
