Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Mr. Leon Earlston Noel Woods.
A Home Going service for Mr. Leon Earlston Noel Woods, beloved husband to Gloria Woods, son of the late Robert and Agnes Woods, loving father to Noelette Galbreth, Noelitta Woods- Tucker [Blaine], Noel Woods II [Almaze], and Noellan Woods, brother of Bernard Woods [Josephine], Mavis Henry [Conrad], Agnes Robinson, the late Ronald Woods, Cynthia Woods, Dorothy Woods, Kathleen Majors and Ellen Symonds in his 82nd year of 32 Rockywold Drive, Sandys will be held at Mount Zion A.M.E. Church, Southampton Today, December 20, 2017 at 1:00 pm.
Interment will follow the service at St. John’s Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Mount Zion Church Today, December 20, 2017 from 12:00 pm – 12:55 pm.
Lovingly remembered by grandchildren: Kasia Galbreth, Nassar Woods and Colin Woods; brother-in-law: Ricky Wilkinson [Joann]; nieces: Carol-Ann Albuoy, Dorothy-Ann Lacey, Juliette Gibbons, Lovely Symond, Eulene Ming, Rhonda Woods, Annette Fubler, Karen Spencer, Luzerio Burch, Laural Arthur, Warnette Ross, Wendy Woods, and Laquita Trew; nephews: Glenn Woods, Michael Woods, Andre Majors, Lorenzo Symonds, Craig R. Woods, Roland Majors, Elliott Majors, Bernard Woods Jr., Edwin Majors, Harold Robinson, David Henry and Jonathan Henry; many great-nieces and nephews; special friends: Donald “Dick” Dane, many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Leon Woods was predeceased by brother-in-law: Earlston Wilkinson; nephews: Dennis Greene and Gladwin Woods.
