Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Mr. Leonard James Butterfield.
A Home Going service for Mr. Leonard James Butterfield, beloved husband to F. Betty Butterfield, son of the late Augustus and Hilda Butterfield, loving father to L. Dayle Butterfield [Jennifer], Donna-Lee Chandler-Smith [Larry], Lisa-Dawn Rivas [Calvin] and Leanna Cruz, in his 89th year of ‘Jib Stay’ 6 Oceanside Estate, Southampton will be held at St. Paul A.M.E. Church, Hamilton Today, February 6, 2018 at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow the service at St. John’s Cemetery.
There will be no viewing.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Agape House.
Lovingly remembered by grandchildren: Raemar, Ravone and Dayna Butterfield, Domonique Rivas, and Corday and Shayle Cruz; great grandchildren: Raequan Woolridge-Butterfield and Solae Rivas; nephews: Sheridan, Trenton, Lovell, Wayne, Deroy, Charles, Malcolm and Dr. Burton Butterfield, and Rory Suber; nieces: Penny-Lynn Butterfield, Carol-Mae McBean, Marlette Darrell and Ceita Rochester ; numerous great nieces and great nephews; brothers-in-law: Clevelyn Chrichlow and Clyde Tucker; sisters-in-law: Isla Symonds, Gladys Wainwright, June Chrichlow, Rene McHardy and Agnes Jackson; caregiver Prima Joy Flores.
Predeceased by brothers: Rev. Dr. Cyril Butterfield, Cecil Butterfield, and Earl Butterfield; sisters: Joyce Butterfield, Barbara Butterfield, and Elease Suber.
