Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Mr. Leroy Quinton Charles Burgess.
A Home Going service for Mr. Leroy Quinton Charles Burgess, loving husband to Helen Burgess, caring father to Charles Burgess [Latisha Lister-Burgess], stepson Austin Butterfield [Akanke Simmons] and brother of Marilyn Butterfield, Mary-Helen Trott [Paul], and Reginald Burgess [Shirley] in his 66th year of 40 Spring Benny Road, Sandys, will be held at Mount Zion Church Today, October 29, 2021 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow the service at Emmanuel Methodist Church, Southampton.
As this will be a private service, the service will be live streamed via www.twitch.tv/jroctv2000
There will be no viewing.
Lovingly remembered by grandsons: Quinton and Antoine Burgess, Ade’, A’Twa, and Azhuna Butterfield; sisters-in-law: Carol Raynor [Willard], Diane Cooper [Thomas], Gilda Cann [Rudolph], Jennifer Outerbridge [Richard] and Joanne Douglas [McDonald]; nieces: Sonya Butterfield, Tamika Seymour [Donovin], Denise Burgess [Kameron], Kemda Bean and Stephanie Outerbridge; nephew: Carlos Butterfield [N’Gina]; great nieces: Sanna Seymour, E’Laya and E’Myah Burgess, Zharia and Zylah Bean; great nephews: Dadrian and Daylen Seymour, Donte’ Butterfield, McKao Butterfield and Kwasi James; aunts: Inez Furbert and Olivia Steede; uncle: Frederick Butterfield and many other relatives and friends including the Department of Public Transportation family.
Covid-19 precautions are to be observed. Mask and hand sanitation will be required and social distancing observed.
