Margaret [Kim] Young
We regret to announce the death of Margaret I [Kim] Young, JP in Nassau, Bahamas on Sunday, March 4th 2018 at the age of 75.
Kim is survived by her husband, Ward, her daughter, Shannon and sons William and Jonathan and her stepchildren Ardleigh and Ward Jr. Her daughter, Jeness, died in infancy.
She will be remembered as a trailblazer for the rights of women and children with integrity, altruism, compassion, and big blue eyes.
She will be remembered by her 9 grandchildren, Senna, Lara, Sachin, Dexter, Hugo, Martha Rose, Cecilia, Schuyler and Charlie. And her grandchildren through Ardleigh and Ward: Mitchell, Walker, Philip and Rebekah and great granddaughter Averie.
Her celebration will be held at St. John’s Church on Thursday, April 5th at 3 pm. Only colours please. For those who wish to remember her please send a donation to the Women’s Resource Centre.
