August Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Mr. Melvin Bernard Stevens.
A Home-Going service for Mr. Melvin Bernard Stevens husband of the late Cora Stevens, son of Lola Beane and the late Bernard Stevens, brother of Christine Place [Albert], Patricia Lee [Roger], Heather and Caron Stevens and Carlton ‘Butch’ Fraser [Margo-Jean], special daughter Nikki Drayton [USA] in his 66th year of ‘Cleola’ # 5 Tribe Road, # 6 Southampton will be held at Church of Christ, Georges Bay Road, Sandys Today, July 4, 2015 at 3pm.
Interment will follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Paget. Flowers may be sent.
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Church of Christ Today, July 4, 2015 from 2 – 2:55 pm.
Also surviving are nieces/nephews: Alaire Godfrey [Andre], Wendeisha [Muffy] Phillips [UK], Wolde-Maryam Place, Dr. Merate-Kristos Place Makanjuola [Kehinde] [UK], Yaun Lee, Kimberly, Kevin and Kyle Fraser; great nieces: Yukhari and Zuay Smith, Chinyere Place Somner, Ilori Grace Makanjuola, Gabriella Fraser; great nephew: N’Zhari Phillips and Anias Godfrey; aunts: Cynthia Postlethwaite, Syvilia Stanley and Marie Stevens; numerous relatives and friends whom Melvin loved dearly and The West End Church of Christ family.
