Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Mrs. Muriel Anderson [nee Darrell].

A celebration of life service for Mrs. Muriel Anderson [nee Darrell], loving wife of Willett [Bill] Anderson, beloved daughter of the late Leroy and Joyce Darrell, cherished sister to Edith Morris [the late Francis Sr.] and Carlton Darrell [Jean], and the late Gladys Furbert, in her 89th year, of 15 Granaway Heights Road, Southampton.  Funeral Services will be held at Mount Zion A.M.E. on March 30th, 2023, at 2:00pm with interment will follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery, Southampton.

Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at the viewing, held at Mt. Zion A.M.E. church, Whale Bay Road, Southampton on 30th March 2023 from 1:00 – 1:50pm.

 Muriel is also survived by sisters-in-law: Barbara Swan, Rose Raynor; nieces: Levyette Robinson, Renee Burchall, Marsha Daniels, Janet Hollis, Irma Burrows, Wendy Seymour, Cherie Anderson, Belinda Darrell, Carla Smith, Shawnee Anderson; nephews: Alvin and Michael Smith, Francis, Shaun and Neal Morris, Malcolm Furbert Jr., Albert Burgess, Gladwin and Brian Lambert, Kim and Darren Swan, Sheridan, Terry and Gary Raynor, Craig Hall, Fred and Allan Anderson.  She also leaves great nephews and nieces, goddaughters: Glenda Gibson and Linda Dill, The Mt. Zion family and numerous special friends.

Muriel is predeceased by sisters: Hilda Burgess [Fred], Grace Smith; sister-in-law: Myrtle Lambert [Canute “Tudor”]; brothers-in-law: Irvine “B” Hall [Wilma], James “Buggs” Anderson [Ida], Carrol “Cavie/Squawb” Anderson [Millicent]; nieces: Jean Smith, LaRosa and Sharon Raynor; nephews: Ralph Smith, Gary Lambert, Eldon Swan, Donald Hall.
