It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing Raymond Harold DeShields of #2 Factory Lane, Pembroke in his 89th year, the son of the late John Wesley DeShields and late Edna Marion DeShields, brother of Elizabeth Isaac, Marilyn Bailey, Dr. Bradlyn DeShields, the late Wilma Trott and the late Wesley Robinson. A celebration of life service will be held at the North Street Salvation Army Citadel, Hamilton Today, October 30th at 11:00a.m. This is a safekey service and covid 19 precautions will be observed.
Interment will follow at the Pembroke Parish Cemetery, Pembroke.
Flowers may be sent.
There will be no viewing.
Please plan to arrive at 10:00am to allow for safekey scanning and covid protocols. Raymond will be lovingly remembered by nieces: Beverley Howell [Bridrijo], June Tuzo, Rita Bailey, Deborah Symons [Larry], Maria Trott [Domingo] and Michelle Trott [Rochelle] and the late Linda Bailey; nephews: Edwin Isaac [Carmelita], Dean Bailey [Donna], Richard Bailey, Marcel Trott [Lily] and the late Michael Trott; great nieces: Lisa Howell-Ming [Shawn], Kristin Howell, Michee Barclay [Seymour], Kiara Bellamy [Luttrell], Murinda Bailey, Deana and Donnae Bailey, Princine and Sherrita Bailey, Tania Esdaille, Lakia Richardson and Chantal Mitchell; great nephews: Malik Tuzo, Murry Bailey [Elisha] Derek and Devon Barker, Murry Bailey, Julian Aklouie, Maurice Symons [Kristi-Lia] and Maurico Symons; special friend: Helen Bailey, Ann Peachey, Joyce Mitchell, Helen Bailey, Mickey and Betty Scottland, Lynell Furbert, Louis and Malcom Ming and other family and friends too numerous to mention.
