Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Mrs. Rowena Carmen Riley [Smith].
A Home Going service for Mrs. Rowena Carmen Riley [Smith], wife of the late Simeon Riley, mother of Delwin [Grace], Alfred [Colleen], Cordell [Liz] Riley, Robin [Norris Jr.] Burgess, LeeAnne [Mark] Hinton, daughter of the late Ashley Smith and the late Evelyn Smith, sister to Hughie [Cynthia], Cyril ‘Humphrey’ [Barbara] Smith, Roseclair McGowan, Pearl Taylor [ U.S.A], Audrey Hayward, Verna Perinchief, in her 88th year of Crawl Hill, Hamilton Parish will be held at Marsden Methodist Church, South Shore Smith’s Today, April 3, 2019 at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to PALS in her honor.
Interment will follow the service at Marsden Methodist Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Marsden Methodist Church, South Shore Smith’s Today, April 3, 2019 from 12:00 pm – 12:55 pm.
Lovingly remembered by grandchildren: Carmen [ Lawrence], Noreco, Olivia [Matthew], John, Jenna, Ashley, Desirée, Whitney, Azana, Kaela; godchildren: Vance Smith, Melanie Swan, Justin Paynter; sisters-in-law: Charlotte Edwards [Canada], Catherine Joy Smith; other nieces, nephews and relatives too numerous to mention.The family would like to thank the staff at KEMH, the Sylvia Richardson Care Facility and PALS for the care and kindness shown to our mother during her illness.
Mrs. Rowena Carmen Riley was predeceased by siblings Bernard ‘Bernie’ Smith, Herbert ‘Herbie’ Smith, Sinclair ‘Tokyo’ Smith, Clinton ‘Winkie’ Smith, Muriel Smith, and Una Smith.
