We regret to announce the passing of Shirley Joan Loraine Govia nee DeShield; beloved mother to Deborah, Troy [Yaima], and Carl [Vickie] Govia, in her 81st year of # 7 Khyber Heights Lane, Warwick.
A graveside service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday 27th January 2022 at 1:00 pm at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Middle Road, Warwick.
A walk through visitation will be held this evening, Wednesday 26 January, 2022 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at AMIS Memorial Chapel, Khyber Pass, Warwick.
She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Davon Govia [Christal], Chevun Govia [Nakai], Zakee Govia, Delrico Govia [Zoey], Kyree Govia [Nicky], Yazik Govia and Ajani Hill; three beautiful great grandchildren Peyton, Dylan and Kyng Govia; sister Eldreeta DeShield, brother George “Johnny” DeShield, many wonderful friends, nieces and nephews too numerous to mention.
She was predeceased by her parents Harold and Viola Bernice DeShield and siblings: Loretta Morton, Calvin “Charlo” and Lloyd DeShield.
